The local community Virneburg with about 385 inhabitants is located in a valley - surrounded by the four mountains, Brauberg, Schafsberg, Mühlenberg and Bleiberg. In the center of the village, on another elevation, are the Virneburg castle ruins and, on the two upper floors of the former school building, the local history museum with documentation of Virneburg's history.
FOR A QUARTER OF A CENTURY, THE VILLAGE HAS BEEN COMMITTED TO ITS VILLAGE SHOP. HERE, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK, YOU CAN GET EVERYTHING FOR YOUR DAILY NEEDS - ESPECIALLY A LOT OF REGIONAL PRODUCE.
