Picturesquely located in the upper Nettetal, the municipality of Hausten is framed at an altitude of about 420 m by meadows and mixed forests. The pure residential community is home to about 380 inhabitants and is located on the northern district border of the district of Mayen-Koblenz to the district of Ahrweiler. Particularly worth seeing in the district of Morswiesen is the baroque St. Anna chapel as well as the idyllically located pond.

Pottery SerockaThe pottery workshop was founded in 1978 on a former farm,in the small village of Köttelbach, at the foot of the Hochkelberg (675 m in the volcanic Eifel).Rainer Serocka learned how to work with clay early in his parents' workshop.

The landscape of the municipality of Bermel is characterized by the idyllic Elztal and the Hochbermel (570 m above sea level). This former basal stone mining site, a landmark of the region, as well as the Kleinbermel together form the nature reserve "Hochbermel" above the 350-soul community. The municipality of Bermel also includes the district of Fensterseifen.
