During a 90-minute drive, the volcano express, the narrow-gauge railway, winds through the sometimes very narrow valley over elegant stone bridges near Bad Tönisstein and Oberzissen as well as through an almost 100m long tunnel at Burgbrohl on the plateau of the volcanic Eastern Eifel.
