The cultural and local history association operates its local history museum, in which numerous private collections are bundled and agricultural equipment is also saved from oblivion, at two locations.

One of the most unusual Christmas destinations can be found in the Eifel, right on the border between Germany and Belgium. “ArsKrippana” houses one of the largest and most impressive Christmas nativity scene collections in Europe on more than 2,500 square meters. Just in time for Christmas 2024, operator Michael Balter is presenting two highlights that are intended to encourage pause and reflection in turbulent times: a peace nativity scene and a “dream "the angel".

This Eifel view, at an altitude of 340 meters above sea level, on the Bildchesberg offers you a distant view in a south to north-westerly direction, with two core areas of the Eifel National Park in the field of vision.

The parish church of St. George from 1761 is already the third church building on the same site. The baroque interior has been preserved in its original form and is very rare to find in this form. The high altar is decorated with the statue of St. George.

In 1646 a replica of the Chapel of the Assumption near Jerusalem was built on the hill between Oberkail and Schwarzenborn.
