  • Bitburger LandGang– Castle Route – On this family-friendly loop hike around Malberg, the castle rally offers a special highlight for children: they’ll playfully search for clues through the historic castle grounds. This turns the hike into a little adventure for the whole family.
     
  • Steinrausch Adventure Forest – Running right through the former volcanic cone, this short loop trail leads young and old explorers to varied play stations and exciting nature information boards. Here, the forest becomes an adventure playground where knowledge is experienced along the way.
     
  • Kids’ Adventure Hike with a Climbing Ship, Suspension Bridges, and a Treehouse – On this varied family hike, numerous play stations—such as a climbing ship, suspension bridges, and a treehouse—are waiting to be discovered.   • Dandelion Adventure Trail – On this 6-kilometer-long, family-friendly loop trail, 20 varied interactive stations ensure that nature and history can be discovered in a playful way. This turns every step into a little adventure for explorers of all ages.
     
  • Gerolstein Nature Adventure Trail with Forest Marble Run – In addition to nine interactive stations, the approximately 400-meter-long forest marble run is the main attraction on this loop trail, offering fun and excitement in the woods. Here, the ball whizzes through curves and obstacles—great fun for the whole family.
     
  • Summi’s Stamp Trail – The 3.9 km circular trail winds through Monschau-Rohren, where children can collect stamps for their own stamp book along the way and playfully discover the forest, animals, and history. At the end, a little treasure even awaits all the hard-working hikers.
     
  • Jungle Trail – Amidst water, log bridges, and narrow paths, lovingly hidden elf houses (mid-June to late August) await discovery on this family-friendly loop trail, transforming the path into a little fantasy world. The hike thus becomes a fairy-tale experience for young and old alike.
