A trip with the Brohltalbahn is more than just a train ride. It is pure everyday deceleration, a true experience of technology and nature. It brings the volcanic region of Laacher See with its unique volcanic landscape to life and gives a sense of the "effort" it takes the locomotives to overcome around 400 meters in altitude between the Rhine and Eifel. For a whole day, we will explore the magical places in the Schönecker Schweiz. Accompanied by fluffy llamas, we will hike to the enchanted Krausbuche. Other highlights of the total seven-hour trekking in the nature reserve include strange trickling brooks and an ancient Celtic refuge hill.
