Our house is located in the Eifel village of Herhahn, to the west between Schleiden and Gemünd, and borders directly on the Eifel National Park. In the village itself you will find our house near the church and bus stop. Thanks to its direct location to the Rur and Urft lake district, countless excursion destinations are within easy reach: the Rur dam, the town of Monschau, the town of Nideggen, the town of Aachen and the LVR open-air museum in Kommern are perfect for day trips. Walks, long hikes, swimming, strolls through quaint Eifel villages with their half-timbered houses promise variety and relaxation.

The approximately 76 sqm holiday apartment is located in Kaltenborn, quietly situated in the beautiful Hocheifel.The Nordschleife can be reached in 10 minutes by car. As can the town of Adenau with many shops and nice restaurants and cafes.The apartment is an ideal starting point for hikes and mountain bike tours.

Our neighbours are the local soccer field and the horse riding club. The sporting club's home is located in the building and looking forward to meet you for a beer or two. The holiday apartment "Zum alten Landrat" is located in the heart of the old town. It is a maisonette apartment with an internal staircase to the upper floor. The apartment is located in a listed quarry stone house. The rooms are spacious and bright. The partially exposed roof beams create a cozy atmosphere. In the sleeping area there are two double rooms and a triple room. An additional folding bed can be set up on an open gallery. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, including a dishwasher. There is a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower tray. There is also a toilet with sink. The living/dining area has satellite TV, radio with CD player and plenty of seating. There is space for bicycles in the entrance area of the house.
