Welcome to the website Vulkaneifel in Nickenich For your vacation or a short vacation, we offer you three well-equipped holiday apartments in the middle of the Laacher See volcanic region, on the “Deutsche Vulkanstraße” in the immediate vicinity of Laacher See with numerous excursion and hiking opportunities. In our annex we have built 2 new 50 m² apartments. Both apartments are on the 1st floor. The beautiful, light-flooded apartments are spacious and ideally suited for 2-4 people. The apartments have a spacious bedroom with box spring bed, wardrobe and space for a travel cot. A large kitchen with a fully equipped new kitchen, dishes and cutlery for 4 people, 4 plate hob with oven, dishwasher, extractor hood, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. In the living area, a cozy couch and a flat-screen TV invite you to relax. One apartment has access to a sunny south-west balcony. The spacious bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. Our third apartment is behind the historic castle gate. This is about 45 m² and has a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and is also on the first floor. Our apartments are NON-SMOKING APARTMENTS! We rent out a rustic yet romantic vacation home that has been extensively and lovingly renovated and furnished. The house is well-equipped, features a wooden porch, and is surrounded by a spacious property. Further information can be found at www.haushedwig.com. The vacation home is located in the Leudersdorf district, on the outskirts of town and in close proximity to various hiking and biking trails. The Eifelsteig trail also passes through the village and is within walking distance of the house, which is why Leudersdorf is very popular among hikers and mountain bikers.  Hillesheim, the “crime novel capital,” is just a 10- to 15-minute drive away. The following attractions are also easily accessible from Leudersdorf: the Dreimühlen Waterfall near Nohn, the Freilingen swimming lake, the Nürburgring, the Dauner Maare, Kasselburg Gerolstein, Phantasialand, the Daun Wildlife and Adventure Park, and many more.

The "favourite" place to spend time out is where peace, comfort and cosiness are combined. Enjoy your stay in one of the two spacious flats with balcony, which are suitable for couples, families and friends. You can expect modern facilities with many amenities, such as an oven, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The two adjacent flats were completed in spring 2020 with great attention to detail. The ‘Cinema Forst holiday flat’, which was completely renovated in 2024, has approx. 105m² of living space and a garden of around 360m² with barbecue facilities and an outdoor shower for private use. A dedicated home cinema with a 108-inch screen and powerful sound system, as well as a private library with over 1000 books, make for an exceptional holiday. Underfloor heating, bathtub, walk-in shower and a starry sky in the bedroom make dreams come true.
