In one of the most beautiful places in the volcanic Eifel, surrounded by the geologically special landscape of the Daun Maars, lies our holiday home "Schöner Maarblick" in a green hillside location, with a fantastic view of the Schalkenmehren Maar. With a view of the Maar, you can enjoy breakfast and the morning on the east terrace, the south terrace offers sun until the evening hours. A fireplace with firewood belongs to the Maarblick terrace. Both terraces are equipped with garden furniture, sun loungers are available in the spacious garden, where there is also a spacious barbecue area. In both bedrooms you lie in high-quality double box-spring beds, the shower room has towels, hairdryer and make-up mirror, the kitchen is fully equipped. The dining room and living room are flooded with light and lovingly furnished, you can also enjoy the view of the Maar from the living room. In a separate washingroom you can use a washingmaschine and a dryer, 5€ every use.

The Siechhaus is a detached courtyard complex. Since 2010, the historic building has been continuously renovated and brought up to a contemporary standard with a retro look. Vintage style and funky idents round off the rural character. The house has a sunny inner courtyard, an enchanted garden with meadows and orchards. The Catholic St. John's Chapel is located next to our farm store for quiet moments.The farm includes a nostalgic café, a farm store with regional products and a cultural stage. The connection to the highway is very good and can be reached in 9km, the way to the beautiful Eifel is infallible and cycling and hiking trails are right on the doorstep. Seepark and the historic town center of Zülpich are only 4km away.

A 55 m² vacation apartment, newly renovated and lovingly furnished in September 2021, awaits you in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel, here with us in Mehren.With a cozy sun terrace and a view of the village, our apartment offers the perfect home for your well-deserved vacation.From the oven and ceramic hob to the microwave and toaster, you will find a well-equipped kitchen.In the bathroom there is a ground level shower.The bedroom has been furnished with a double bed. However, there are more sleeping options available. In the living room and in the bedroom there is a TV set.Furthermore, the apartment has free WLAN .You live here in a very central location. To the district town of Daun it is about 6 km. The destinations Maar Mosel Radweg, and the hiking trails Eifelsteig, Lieserpfad or to the Maaren (eyes of the Eifel) you can reach in a few minutes.You can experience interesting day trips from the vacation apartment. For example, to the legendary Formula 1 race track at the Nürburgring (Green Hell), to the castle towns of Cochem and Bernkastel or follow in the footsteps of the ancient Romans and visit the oldest city in Germany, Trier.

The quiet location of our house and the close proximity to nature make it easy to forget everyday life. The hiking and cycling trails in the immediate vicinity are also ideal for relaxing.
