On our small farm we have 3 stylish and modern apartments for up to 4 or 5 people. Each holiday apartment has a terrace or garden so that you can enjoy the view of our animals, our garden and the nature of the Eifel. Our apartments have a bright, friendly, open and light-flooded interior design. The apartments are equipped with fine granite and underfloor heating. In order to protect the resources of this beautiful nature, the buildings have the latest energy standards - geothermal energy, photovoltaics, LED lamps, triple glazing as well as perfect external insulation ensure a comfortable living environment. The St. Nikolaus Youth Center Rursee is located on the edge of the village of Schmidt. The buildings of the youth center are located on a 3-hectare forest and meadow area above the Rursee, with the Eifel National Park in the immediate vicinity. Schmidt itself has a tourist information point in the church of St. Hubertus (popularly known as St. Mokka), which is also a tourist attraction in its own right. The lake itself is only a 20-30 minute walk away. The spacious outdoor area is ideal for a wide range of leisure activities. End the day with a cozy campfire in our tepee. The Aachen Diocesan Association of the German Scout Association of St. George (DPSG) is the sponsor of the Rursee youth center. With 120 beds divided into two houses, the youth center offers space for everyone all year round, whether school classes, youth associations, youth and adult groups, course groups or nature lovers. Our fully catered house "Haus am Brunnen" offers space for 82 people. Some of the rooms are equipped with shower and WC. The house has two individually usable floors, each with a conference room. We also offer 3 different self-catering units from 8 to 30 people. Our self-catering house "Landhaus am Scheidbaum" offers space for 30 people. It is equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, rustic dining room and cozy common room, as well as shower and washrooms. Our apartment "Zur Kapelle" is a small accommodation unit for self-catering and offers space for up to 8 people. It is equipped with a modern, fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen also serves as a lounge and offers space for cozy get-togethers. There is a bathroom with shower, basin and WC, as well as a separate WC. 3 bedrooms with bunk beds (2 with two beds and one with four beds) are available. The "Haus am Hang" (scout house) is a small, cozy self-catering house with a rural ambience and simple furnishings. It is equipped with a small, functional kitchen, two bathrooms with shower and WC and 4 small bedrooms for 2 people each. Two lounges invite you to share activities and get-togethers. One of the group rooms is furnished with a couch, the other with tables and chairs. Here you will find the ideal conditions for leisure and educational work, as well as conferences, training courses and meetings.
