Ferienpark Wolfsschlucht

Holiday village with 18 high-quality equipped, new, modern holiday homes for 1 to 7 people (76-97m²) in a quiet location on the edge of the forest 3 km from the Carolingian town of Prüm. Terrace, sauna, TV, free parking, some with wood-burning stove and fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and microwave.

In Prüm (4 km by car, 3 km on foot) you will find all shops for your daily needs. Information about excursion destinations can be obtained from the tourist information centre: www.eifel.info

There are currently no new building works in the park. Laundry can be washed and dried in the washing machine room (white container with key pad) (4 x 1€), detergent 0.50€. If you would like to use our hot tub, please contact us. Please only use the parking space belonging to your house or the parking spaces in front of house 3, next to the blue container or above house 10. Please do not park in the turning hammers.

Two tea towels and two dishcloths as well as a dishwasher cloth are always provided. For reasons of hygiene, no food (including sugar, spices, coffee or tea) is allowed in the houses! The coffee machines are filter coffee machines.

Travel cots and / or highchairs can be collected from our warehouse on arrival if required (free of charge while stocks last). These must be returned cleaned on departure.

A large number of marked hiking trails start very close to the houses, allowing you to discover the fascinating landscape.

    Welcome to the Alte Burg! Pure village life: Our castle (built in 1509) is located in the middle of the picturesque Schönecker Schweiz in the old and quiet village center of Hersdorf.Our comfortably furnished vacation apartment in the former barn is the ideal starting point for hikes and explorations of the Eifel - from the volcanic Eifel with the maars to the High Fens and Luxembourg. Guests with children are just as welcome as guests with pets. Just come and relax and unwind. We look forward to seeing you! The accommodation The vacation apartment is built into a former barn. It has a large living room with adjoining kitchen area, a fireplace, a dining area and a living area with sofa (can be converted into a sofa bed). A wooden staircase leads to the gallery with the sleeping area. From the entrance, however, you first enter the hallway with checkroom and the modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Access for guests In front of the vacation apartment is a loggia with seating and a partially covered barbecue area, which our guests are welcome to use by prior arrangement. Our village Hersdorf is a tiny village with about 400 inhabitants. Our castle is in a very quiet location. There are no shops in the village, no bakery and unfortunately no village pub. So bring something with you for breakfast the morning after your arrival. But there is fresh milk straight from the farmer. We will be happy to put a bottle of milk in the fridge for the first morning if you order in advance.As in many places in the Eifel, the mobile phone network is not ideal. So you won't have reception everywhere in the apartment.The nearest small supermarket, bakery, pubs, restaurants etc. can be found in Schönecken, about 4 km away.More restaurants, museums and a good ice cream parlor can be found in Prüm, about 8 km as the crow flies from Hersdorf.

    Our two-storey non-smoking vacation home is located in the center of Weyer and offers accommodation for up to 7 people. As a district of the town of Mechernich, the village of Weyer borders on the municipality of Nettersheim and is located approx. 2 km from the junction of the A1 highway, exit 113. At 525 m above sea level, the Brehberg is the highest point in the town area. Hikers can enjoy the adjacent Eifelsteig trail and the Kakushöhle circular hiking trail, among many other options.
