Description: HausAcht, including KleinHausAcht (both units) HausAcht (a cozy guesthouse from the 1960s) has been operating as a modern conference and recreation center for nearly 20 years. In 2016, the KleinHausAcht was added as a barrier-free extension. As a group retreat, the facility can accommodate up to 35 guests who can use the space in a variety of ways.Under the motto “A whole house to enjoy,” the property is available to children’s and youth groups, “extended families,” and working groups, as well as hiking groups, motorcycle groups, and company outings. HausAcht is rented out to only one group at a time, which has exclusive use of all rooms. The large kitchen (which can be used for self-catering) and 4 common rooms (including a rustic bar area) offer plenty of flexibility for planning activities. 11 bedrooms (almost all with showers and toilets) for 31 guests provide a comfortable level of privacy. The group house can accommodate up to 31 people. For groups of 32 or more, the KleinHausAcht (annex) is automatically included in the rental. Upon request, a smaller group can also be split between the group house and the KleinHausAcht (annex). You can discuss this with your host. The accessible KleinHausAcht can be rented as part of the package. This annex, located on the same level as the common areas of HausAcht, offers 2 additional bedrooms for 4 guests, an entryway with a kitchenette, and a large bathroom with accessible amenities. It can accommodate up to 3 wheelchair users. For more details, see the descriptions “HausAcht – Group House” and “KleinHausAcht – Annex / Vacation Rental.” The property also features a laundry room, ample storage space in the basement, and 10 parking spaces, which can accommodate a tour bus. Various sun terraces and two small lawns round out the surroundings. Barbecue facilities, a ping-pong table, a TV in each room, and free Wi-Fi access to the internet are available. For guests staying at HausAcht – Group House, Beckmann’s catering service is available upon request to provide customized partial or full meal plans.

Welcome, to Rosige Zeiten, holidays at the half-timbered farmhouse! We rent our listed and lovingly renovated half-timbered farmhouse from 1600 in the historic center of Kommern. The enclosed courtyard, terrace, and garden provide relaxation and recreation. We have furnished our little house with selected antique furniture that ensures no comfort is missing. The individual décor creates a cozy atmosphere that distracts from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Low ceilings, slanted walls and floors, and steep stairs characterize a half-timbered house. Our small farmhouse offers 75sqm of living space. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen, a living room with a wood stove, and a bathroom. On the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms. One has a double bed, while the other two each offer a single bed.In the outdoor area, there is an additional toilet that can be used in the summer.

Feel the Freedom!   The newly furnished holiday flat "L' Extravagante im Garten von Schloss Schmidtheim" offers wonderful peace and quiet in a special house: a historic villa from the 19th century. This lovely flat boasts plenty of space and light and natural materials such as wood and stone make the foundation for our guests' relaxation. The high ceilings offer room to breathe, and give this exceptional accommodation a castle flair. Huge windows provide wonderful brightness and the feeling of being part of the natural spectacle taking place outside. A small terrace with its own garden and a view of the large orchard invite you to observe, relax and enjoy. Active holiday guests will also get their money's worth: Just a step out the door and through the red garden gate - kilometres of hiking and cycling trails await to be discovered.   If desired, we are happy to extend an invitation to visit the castle courtyard and park opposite the holiday home. Please get in touch.   LOCATION:   The holiday flat "L' Extravagante im Garten von Schloss Schmidtheim" is located on the ground floor of the villa - in the middle of the Eifel and is surrounded by pure nature. It is only a stone’s throw away from Schmidtheim Castle and is found directly across from the Castle Gardens. Upon arriving, we recommend that our guests take a leisurely discovery walk. About 300 metres from the holiday home is a forest path that leads to a picturesque pond. You should plan about one hour for the way there and back.   For the following days of your stay, you can choose between a diverse range of excursions and hikes offered by Nord Eifel Tourismus. You will find a brochure in the holiday flat. You are also welcome to ask us for tips and excursion destinations at any time. Our family has lived at Schmidtheim Castle for more than 500 years. In addition, stylish straw boarding/storage with bath/shower, and lounge. Ideal for stage hikers on the Eifelsteig/Lieserpfad and guests looking for a simple place to stay overnight. The Gerberhaus is part of an old farmstead in the area of the castle town of Manderscheid. Quiet and yet centrally located, you will stay here on the spacious property with inner courtyard and garden.Families will appreciate the large property and the many play possibilities, hiking or mountain bike groups the central location in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel. The special layout allows for flexible use of the Gerberhaus:You can choose between a double room with its own shower and toilet, a holiday flat for 5 people or the entire house - just as you need it! Yard & Garden:The Gerberhaus is part of the large property - with old farmhouse, barn with straw boarding house, 2 separate courtyards, large meadow, vegetable garden and garden house. Cyclists and mountain bikers can safely store their bikes and also wash them after a "wild tour".Families with children especially enjoy the garden and courtyard with play facilities (trampoline, slide, table tennis table), and the large courtyard area for playing and romping. The garden is not available to overnight guests of the Strohlager. The animals of the Gerberhaus:There are always animals to pet on the property, such as rabbits or poultry.Just outside Manderscheid there is another farm building where the flock of sheep and our two Icelandic horses live, who are happy to be stroked.Direct location on the Eifelsteig and Lieserpfad.
