Spend a nice, relaxing holiday in our cozy, comfortably furnished holiday apartments or in the bright, spacious guest room with a double bed. All units have balconies on different levels. There are parking spaces and a garage for a fee. In summer there is a grill fireplace as well as an outdoor seating area with a parasol and a pavilion. We have wireless internet access in all rooms. Our house is about 40mtr. away from the bike path and the access path from the premium hiking path (Traumpfad Monrealer Ritterschlag). The approx. 100mtr. distant mixed forest that invites you to take a walk, as well as the historic center of Monreal. Our house is approx. 250 m from the historic center with its beautiful half-timbered houses, which offer a wonderful backdrop on the Elz stream, the late Gothic church and the medieval stone bridges. The two castles (Phillipsburg and Löwenburg, which can also be climbed) are visible from afar and towering high above the old town center. The gastronomy in Monreal includes 2 restaurants and 2 cafes and a bakery only on Saturday mornings. There are walking and hiking trails We have many in Monreal, (Karbachweg, Eifelkamino, Jakobsweg, 7 hiking trails from the IVV, the dream trails of the Eifel, as well as the Elztalwanderweg to the Moselle. We can also provide maps to these with us. In the surrounding area you will find our beautiful shopping town Mayen with the Genovevaburg with the Eifel Museum, Bürresheim Castle, Lake Laacher See with the Maria Laach Monastery is 20 km away. Eltz Castle, which was never destroyed, is 28 km away (Wierschem car park). The volcano park with lava dome, Wingertsbergwand near Mendig and the visitor mine Meurin in Kretz. Furthermore, in the vicinity you will find the Nürburgring, the Ahr, the Moselle, the Rhine near Koblenz, the Maare near Daun, Meerfeld and Gillenfeld incl. lava bomb in Strohn. Hikers, cyclists and motorcyclists are also very welcome and welcome guests.

A modern sports hall, a professional canteen kitchen, recreation, seminar and exercise rooms complete the picture of the Jugendhof Finkenberg. The free and undisturbed location of the Jugendhof Finkenberg allows for numerous adventure-based educational programs such as - Wilderness training - Team-building measures and activities for - Nature and history education. The supporting programs are carried out by trained partners and can be booked at any time. We have two fire pits on our premises, one of which is covered.
