Enjoy a wonderful, relaxing vacation in our cozy, comfortably furnished vacation apartments or in our bright, spacious guest room with a double bed.

All units feature balconies on different levels. Parking spaces and a garage are available for an additional fee. In the summer, a barbecue pit, an outdoor seating area with a parasol, and a gazebo are available for your use.

We offer Wi-Fi internet access in all rooms. Our house is about 40 meters from the bike path and the trailhead for the premium hiking trail “Traumpfad Monrealer Ritterschlag.” Just about 100 meters away, a beautiful mixed forest invites you to take a stroll.

Our house is about 250 meters from the historic center of Monreal, with its beautiful half-timbered houses that provide a magnificent backdrop along the Elz stream, the late-Gothic church, and the medieval stone bridges. The two castles (Phillipsburg and Löwenburg, the latter of which can be climbed) are visible from afar and tower high above the old town center.

Monreal’s dining options include 2 restaurants, 2 cafes, and a bakery (open only on Saturday mornings). There are many walking and hiking trails here in Monreal: the Karbachweg, the Eifelkamino, the Way of St. James, seven IVV hiking trails, the Eifel Dream Trails, and the Elztal Hiking Trail leading to the Moselle. We can also provide maps for these trails at our location.

In the nearby surrounding area, you’ll find the charming shopping town of Mayen, home to Genovevaburg Castle, the Eifel Museum, and Bürresheim Castle. Lake Laach and the Maria Laach Monastery are 20 km away. Eltz Castle, which has never been destroyed, is 28 km away (Wierschem parking lot). You’ll also find the Volcano Park with its lava dome, the Wingertsberg cliff near Mendig, and the Meurin visitor mine in Kretz. Also nearby, you’ll find the Nürburgring, the Ahr River, the Moselle River, the Rhine near Koblenz, the maars near Daun, Meerfeld, and Gillenfeld—including the lava bomb in Strohn. Hikers, cyclists, and motorcyclists are also warmly welcome and always appreciated guests.

    Although the apartment is situated in a quiet area, this beautiful and renovated holiday flat offers a fast access to the cities of Luxembourg and Trier. A part from the fully equipped kitchen, the electro grill on the 6 sqm big terrasse presents another possibility to prepare your own meal. The living and dinig room as well as the 2 bedrooms offer enough space for 2 people. The rather small bathroom includes a toilet, a bathtub and a shower.

    Beautiful, quietly located holiday flat in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel - on the outskirts of Daun. The ground floor flat in a detached two-family house has a large garden with direct access to the forest. The Maare-Mosel cycle path and access to the Eifelsteig and Lieserpfad hiking trails are only a few hundred metres away. The nearest bakery is 800m away. The town centre with restaurants, shopping and entertainment facilities, as well as the tourist information are within walking distance. (cafés, cinema, indoor swimming pool, volcano museum etc.). The Maare can be reached via appropriate hiking trails (3 km) or are only a few minutes away by car. The Nürburgring and various Moselle towns are within easy reach for beautiful day trips. The Daun Game and Adventure Park is 7 km away. The distance to the A1 motorway is approx. 5 km.

    The vacation apartment was completed in 2015. It is located on the first floor of a listed farmhouse. It is divided into the following rooms: hallway with wardrobe and full-length mirror, living room with spacious fold-out sofa, modern, technically well-equipped kitchen, bedroom with box-spring bed and recliner for reading and relaxing, and bathroom with comfortable shower, WC and bidet. The living room and kitchen are cleverly connected by exposed half-timbered beams. There is a parking space in the courtyard as well as former farm buildings that provide secure storage for bicycles or motorcycles. The terrace and garden with barbecue are available for exclusive use. Special features: Bakery and butcher's shop are only 2-3 minutes' walk away. There is a bus stop in the immediate vicinity. The farmstead with farm buildings is ideal for bikers and cyclists. The town of Mendig is 4 km away, Mayen 8 km. Vacation destination Eifel Bell is located at 370 m above sea level in the immediate vicinity of Maria Laach Abbey with Lake Laach. The abbey and lake are easily accessible via hiking trails. A variety of hiking trails (dream trails) also cross the Bell district. Castles (e.g. Genoveva Castle, Bürresheim Castle, Eltz Castle) and the Nürburgring are popular excursion destinations. Cyclists and bikers are discovering the Rhine-Moselle-Ahr region with increasing popularity. The apartment is logistically ideally located for this.
