We cordially invite you to become part of our Hinkelshof adventure!

In our house from 1924 there are three double rooms, which we have furnished with great attention to detail. They can either be rented separately or all together as a vacation apartment. There is a shared bathroom in the hallway, which is private if booked as a vacation apartment.

Our rooms are also very suitable for families with children who would like to spend their vacation with us together.

Our lounge with self-catering kitchen
If you walk across our forecourt, you come to the cozy dining room, which has a self-catering kitchen. The dining room used to be a stable, which you can still see from the feeding troughs that have been converted into benches and the rustic stone floor. The self-catering kitchen is equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils, as well as a basic supply of tea, coffee, spices, etc.

In the same building, our lounge invites you to take a break or socialize. Here you can meet up, find sofas, games, books and tips for excursions. The little ones can spend rainy days in our colorful children's corner.

Our seminar room can be hired for courses, workshops and events. The light-flooded room has an exit to the veranda in our back garden. You have a view of our old walnut tree, our pig Jacky and the chickens, there is no more distraction here. Our mini pig, Erna the cat and the chickens look forward to visitors.

You can book the three guest rooms separately here.

Via our website, www.hinkelshof.de you can book the three rooms as a vacation apartment, in which case both the bathroom and the kitchen are private.

    In the tranquil village of Loogh in the middle of the Vulkaneifel, close to the Eifelsteig, you will find the Herding vacation apartment as part of a vacation home. The apartment has recently been partially renovated and lovingly furnished. A separate entrance to the apartment leads through the hallway into a modern country-style kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, microwave, stove, fridge, coffee machine, crockery etc.). You then enter the cozy living room, where two sofas invite you to linger in front of the fireplace. In the adjoining conservatory is the dining room with a large table that easily seats 6 people.The recently renovated bathroom is accessible from the hallway. It has a large walk-in shower with seating. There are two small bedrooms opposite the bathroom. They offer space for a 2x2m bed (bedroom 1) and a 2x1.4m bed (bedroom 2). Bedroom 2 also has a closet. The bedrooms are only separated by a door and bedroom 1 is a connecting room for bedroom 2. We therefore recommend our vacation apartment for families or groups who know each other very well. In the large outdoor area there is a terrace with seating, the large wild and romantic garden and two natural ponds. One of these two natural ponds can also be used as a swimming pond. Both ponds are freely accessible and not fenced in - this should be taken into account when booking with small children.The vacation apartment is located in a small village and the garden is often visited by cats from the neighboring farms (note allergy risk). We invite you to come to rest in this idyllic setting.

    The Thielen guesthouse and holiday home is situated with a wonderful view of the idyllic Our valley in the German-Luxembourg Nature Park right on the Luxembourg border.
