The apartment is located in the director's house of the former silk factory. It has a living room, bedroom, bathroom with shower/WC, a separate kitchen and a garden terrace. In the living room there is a sofa bed, 1.6 m x 2.0 m. To be able to sleep there, however, the table must be pushed to one side. It will be tight, see floor plan! It is centrally and quietly located and only approx. 250 m from the bus stop Parkhaus Laufenstraße. You can reach the market square in 3-5 minutes. We are one of the few hosts in the old town who can provide you with your own parking space free of charge. Walkers are very welcome.

You live with us in the approx. 80m² large renovated apartment in our detached house in Gillenfeld, which is located directly on the outskirts of the village in the immediate vicinity of the forest. The Pulvermaar and Holzmaar are only a few minutes' drive away. You can also quickly reach the Maare-Moselle cycle path or popular hiking routes. It offers space for up to 6 people. Our apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob/oven, fridge and freezer compartment, dishwasher. From the cozy living/dining room with TV, sofa bed and fireplace you have direct access to the terrace. The apartment has 2 double bedrooms. Bed linen, towels, kitchen towels and the final cleaning are included in the rental price.

The natural paths lead to wildly romantic castles, impressive gorges and stream valleys as well as fantastic viewpoints of the volcanic Eifel and the Rhine and Moselle valleys.Our vacation home is not only ideally located for a hiking vacation. The world-famous Nürburgring, for example, is just a 15-minute drive away.The Eifel town of Mayen, famous throughout the region for its slate mining and castle festival, is just a 10-minute drive away.Koblenz, which hosted the 2011 Federal Garden Show and was visited by more than 3 million guests, is just 30 minutes away. Visit the Deutsches Eck, Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, the historic old town and the Electoral Palace. Koblenz also invites you to stroll and store at any time of year.Trier, the oldest city in Germany, can be easily reached in just 45 minutes. Explore the Roman city or take a trip to the neighboring Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.The famous Moselle excursion destination of Cochem is just a 20-minute drive away. Discover the beauty of the Moselle valley with its many medieval castles and steep vineyards.
