Just a 5-minute walk away, you can sample traditional local dishes in the nearby restaurant. Discover the many cycling and hiking trails in the area or take a walk along the Obermaubach reservoir, 10 minutes away, or the Rursee lake, which is known as the pearl of the Eifel due to its beauty and unique valley location. Hike along the Way of St. James from Düren to Schevenhütte or enjoy the 18-hole Düren golf course in the immediate vicinity to brush up on your handicap. Take advantage of the hotel's wonderful location and discover the city's shopping and leisure facilities. Of the local sights, the historic Leopold Hoesch Museum and adjoining paper museum are particularly recommended. 25 castles and just as many monasteries and churches as well as the world-famous Heinrich Böll House in Langenbroich are further attractions in the surrounding area.
