Haus der alten Bäume is an exclusively rented holiday home and retreat house in the heart of the Vulkaneifel region. It offers six individually designed room worlds, six en-suite bathrooms and spacious shared areas for groups, families, seminars and mindful retreats.

Location

Prümer Straße 6, 54576 Hillesheim – in the heart of the UNESCO Global Geopark Vulkaneifel. Direct proximity to the Eifelsteig hiking trail, volcanic maar lakes and the Bolsdorfer Tälchen valley. Approx. 20 minutes from the Nürburgring, approx. one hour from Cologne and Bonn.

The House at a Glance

The Six Room Worlds

Each room carries the essence of a tree and features a private bathroom with hairdryer and a private terrace.

  • Mammutkraft – King-size bed + sofa bed, up to 4 persons
  • Kiefernlicht – Queen-size canopy bed + king-size bed, up to 4 persons
  • Fichtenruhe – King-size bed + queen-size bed, up to 4 persons
  • Erlenfluss – King-size bed + single bed, up to 3 persons
  • Buchenherz – Electric double bed + bunk bed, up to 5 persons
  • Eichenwacht – 2 queen-size beds + 2 pull-out children's beds, up to 4+2 persons

Arrival & Stay

Check-in from 3:00 PM (contactless self check-in via key safe, code provided in advance). Check-out by 10:00 AM. Minimum stay 2 nights. Pets on request. The entire house is exclusively rented to one group — no shared occupancy with other guests.

Included in the Price

Final cleaning, WiFi, parking and use of all communal areas. Tourist tax (Kurtaxe) of €1.50 per person/night (from age 6) is charged separately.
