Due to its favorable location, the apartment is an ideal starting point for trips by car, bike or on foot. Signposted hiking trails begin at the front door. If necessary, a hiking guide is available for tours around Igel, of course free of charge. The cycle paths along Moselle are about 1.5 km, Saar about 4 km and Sauer about 5 km. Tours for mountain bikers are also starting at the doorstep. The center to Trier is about 7 km, the borders of Luxemburg about 4.5 km and the city of Luxembourg about 30 km. Good bus and train connections to Trier and Luxembourg.
