For cycling and hiking enthusiasts, the apartment is an ideal starting point for many hiking and cycling tours through beautiful Eifel landscapes. Circular hiking trails in the immediate vicinity from 6 to 22 km can be found under Wanderwelt-Nordeifel/Eifelschleifen and Wanderwelt-Nordeifel/Eifelspuren. 4 stages of the Eifelsteig are in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. Cyclists will find 16 themed circular tours in the Eifel cycle loops to explore the North Eifel by bike. With the new cycle junction system, you can plan your own tours. The Eifel National Park and the nearby Olef, Urft and Rur dams invite you to take a trip. It is not far to the romantic Ahr valley or to the pretty towns of Bad Münstereifel and Monschau. Sports and leisure facilities, such as a go-kart track in Schmidtheim (8km), a gyrofoil flight on the Dahlemer Binz (8km), climbing facility on Lake Kronenburg (14 km), a game reserve with a bird of prey station in Hellenthal are not far away. There are around 15 motorhome pitches available directly below the dam wall on Lake Kronenburg, which are also suitable for large motorhomes. The pitches are very quiet, partly parceled out and have an electricity connection. A supply and disposal column can be accessed above the pitch. Next to the pitch is the extensive leisure area with mini golf and playground, and the bathing area at Lake Kronenburg is just a few minutes' walk away.A wide range of tourist attractions can be reached from the pitch: The historic castle town of Kronenburg, 10 different circular hiking trails, the Kyll cycle path.
