The Maare can be reached via appropriate hiking trails (3 km) or are only a few minutes away by car. The Nürburgring and various Moselle towns are within easy reach for beautiful day trips. The Daun Game and Adventure Park is 7 km away. The distance to the A1 motorway is approx. 5 km.
