The high ceilings offer room to breathe, and give this exceptional accommodation a castle flair. Huge windows provide wonderful brightness and the feeling of being part of the natural spectacle taking place outside. A small terrace with its own garden and a view of the large orchard invite you to observe, relax and enjoy. Active holiday guests will also get their money's worth: Just a step out the door and through the red garden gate - kilometres of hiking and cycling trails await to be discovered. It is only a stone’s throw away from Schmidtheim Castle and is found directly across from the Castle Gardens. Upon arriving, we recommend that our guests take a leisurely discovery walk. About 300 metres from the holiday home is a forest path that leads to a picturesque pond. You should plan about one hour for the way there and back. For the following days of your stay, you can choose between a diverse range of excursions and hikes offered by Nord Eifel Tourismus. You will find a brochure in the holiday flat. You are also welcome to ask us for tips and excursion destinations at any time. Our family has lived at Schmidtheim Castle for more than 500 years. We will be happy to help you. Our holiday home Brücker Mühle is looking forward to your visit. Life is good in the small village of Brück with just 280 inhabitants. Everyone knows everyone and guests are always welcome. Our holiday home was renovated in 2022, energy-efficient shell with KfW50 equipment, pellet heating according to the efficiency house standard and solar power is just as natural for us as a wallbox for our holiday guests. We attach particular importance to renewable energies. All flats have been renovated, and new beechwood stairs and new bathrooms are a matter of course. You can really slow down with us. The clattering of hooves and the crowing of roosters are just as much a part of our mill estate as the ringing of the bells of our village church, which reminds us every lunchtime at 11.30 a.m. of the approaching meal time. Pure idyll and a good remedy against stress and hectic. And if you want, you can bring your own horse, we always keep a few guest boxes free for this.
