Welcome to the holiday apartment at the waterfall! The house, built in the 19th century, has been owned by the family ever since. We are therefore pleased to welcome you to our historic apartments. Rental to holiday guests has only been possible since the complete renovation in 2023. Our great-grandparents and grandparents previously lived here. Through the complete renovation, we can offer you every comfort you need for a relaxing holiday, despite the house's long history. We offer you space on two floors with two double rooms and one single room. The 5-star holiday apartment is located in a quiet outskirts location in the small village of Nohn, which is particularly known for the growing Dreimühlen waterfall. Our property offers you the perfect starting point for hiking, cycling or relaxing. The Kalkeifel cycle path is in the immediate vicinity, as are premium hiking trails such as the Eifelsteig and interesting circular hiking trails. The Dreimühlen waterfall is a special destination at any time of the year. Discover the beautiful nature along a circular route and marvel at the growing waterfall. The nearby Café Nohner Mühle invites you to linger with coffee, delicious waffles or cake. In the Rolf Jaax Metzgerie self-service market in town you can get fresh rolls and much more that you need every day, except Sunday, from 8:30 a.m. Hillesheim with its shopping opportunities can be reached within 10 km. Larger towns such as Gerolstein, Daun, Adenau and Nürburg are approx. 13-23 km away.

In 2022, we furnished three apartments as bright, modern holiday homes for you with great attention to detail. We have paid attention to natural materials such as wood and a harmonious colour concept. The living room with open-plan kitchen ensures a good sense of space. To make you feel at home straight away and enjoy your stay from the start, there are plenty of parking spaces available directly at the house on your arrival and mineral water, tea and coffee are waiting for you in the holiday flat. In the kitchen we have dishwasher tabs, washing-up liquid, sponge and tea towels ready for your stay, the modern bathroom is equipped with fluffy towels on your arrival and bed linen is also provided. Each flat has a flat-screen TV. In our guest folders you will find carefully compiled, important information about the house and the surrounding area, as well as useful contact addresses, gastronomic tips. In our garden, we have created a modern barbecue area for you to socialise and relax. We are happy to provide you with a gas barbecue, deckchairs and a jukebox for an extra charge and fill your fridge in the flat with barbecue food. The newly furnished, well-insulated attic flat is close to the village centre and easily accessible by car. Our farmhouse was built (ANNO - 1821 - C - Mannstein) in the typical Trier country house style.In front of the separate (former barn door) house entrance there is sufficient parking space. To the side of our house is a beautiful meadow with trees and gardens. With a direct connection to the Maare-Mosel cycle path and the Lieser valley, our place is an ideal starting point for fantastic cycling and hiking tours. Excursion destinations in our vicinity are the Manderscheider castles, the Himmerod Abbey as well as the Eifel maars and the Moselle valley.

Are you looking for a tastefully furnished holiday flat for a maximum of 6 people in the beautiful Volcanic Eifel? Then you have come to the right place. We offer two holiday flats for 6 people each, which can be booked individually or together. They are located in the same building, but have their own entrances. The 115 sqm attic flat is spacious and flooded with light through the large skylights. The ground floor flat has 110 sqm of living space and offers a beautiful view of the large garden. Both flats have their own enclosed garden, so you can spend beautiful summer days in the private garden. From the holiday home there are many beautiful cycling and hiking trails that can be started directly from the house or after a short drive. The Lieserpfad or the Eifelsteig are beautiful hiking trails that lead through the nearby forest. The 58 km long Maare-Mosel cycle path also offers an asphalted cycling route through a beautiful landscape. The cycle path leads from Daun to Bernkastel-Kues, but you can certainly start in the middle. The Mosel, famous for its Straußenwirtschaften (wine taverns) and its winegrowing, can be reached by car within about 30 minutes, along the vineyards, from the towns of Bernkastel-Kues and Cochem.But the castles of Manderscheid, and thus the landmark of Manderscheid, must not be missed either. A hiking trail also leads over the lower and upper castles, which can be rounded off with coffee and cake in the cosy castle café at the lower castle. The small town centre invites you to stroll and dream. With several cafés and restaurants, you can enjoy yourself here. In the hot summer days, the open-air swimming pool, 3 minutes away, is within walking distance and provides a fresh cooling. However, if you want to feel that certain Eifel feeling, drive to one of the four swimmable maars for a nice day of swimming. If you want to go on holiday here in the beautiful Volcanic Eifel with a larger group of maximum 12 people, you like our holiday flats so much and you don't want to be far away from the other part of the group, you can also book our holiday flats together.
