With about 60 sqm, divided into a master bedroom, a children's bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a cosy living room as well as a generously fully equipped kitchen, the flat offers space for 4 people. The south-facing garden with a view over the village invites you to linger. The holiday flat is located in the over 200 year old house of the Fenger family, which is adjacent to their own carpentry workshop. We look forward to visiting the carpenter's workshop with you. The nearby Kronenburger See offers a climbing garden and boat hire, bathing and leisure fun for young and old. Discover nature! Upstairs you will find a bedroom with double bed (1.60m) that can be darkened, a small bathroom and a spacious, open-plan sleeping area (double bed 2 m) with a gallery and sofa bed (1.40 m), which is perfect for relaxing hours of reading or as an additional sleeping area. Nestled between the Moselle and Eifel, the "Glücksnest" is the ideal starting point for numerous discovery tours. Visit the historic city of Trier, the oldest city in Germany, with its impressive remains from the Roman past, such as the Porta Nigra, the basilica and the medieval cathedral. Along the Moselle, picturesque wine villages such as Bernkastel-Kues and Traben-Trabach beckon, and neighbouring Luxembourg is also worth a visit. The small village of Hetzerath has a train station, bus stop, bakery, butcher's shop, supermarket, pub with beer garden and an ice cream parlor. The surrounding area offers a wide range of leisure activities: Hiking on picturesque Eifel, Moselle or Hunsrück trails, cycling for all abilities, swimming in the outdoor pool or the natural swimming pools of the Eifelmaare. The apartment is located in a very quiet location on the outskirts of the village, about 200 m from the beautiful forest of Elztal, but only about 3.5 km from the A 48 motorway. The beautiful terrace has a real natural stone wall and invites you to relax with high-quality rattan / wood furniture. Seasonally (limited usability) two exclusive Rattan sun loungers and a large umbrella are available. In August 2022 we converted our separate apartment on the ground floor our house into an attractive, comfortable and high-quality vacation apartment. The idyllic, relaxing village of Hauroth is quiet, close to nature and yet close to the motorway. Ideally located, this accommodation is well suited for couples and small families (up to 4 people and baby). Picturesque vineyards on the Moselle and unspoilt landscapes characterise the Vordereifel slate region. Whether hiking, cycling or relaxing walks, racing enthusiasts will not miss out here either, numerous excursion destinations can be reached from Hauroth in no time at all: Nürburgring, the Moselle town of Cochem, Eltz Castle, the Geierlay suspension rope bridge, Bürresheim Castle and various maars &amp; lakes.
