Lovely old farm house from 1869 has been recently refurbished and can now be rented as a holiday home. The lovely "Mein Eifel Ferienhaus Charlotte" offers on 3 floors 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 guest toilet and a big family room with kitchen, dining table and living room with a Flat TV and DVD player. It offers space for a total of 8 person, 2 more are able to stay on a sleeping couch in the 2nd living room on the 1st floor.  Outside you enjoy the barbeque area and the kids love to play either football or the trampolin.   Only a short drive either by bike or car you find the Kronenburger Lake (Kronenburger See) with a lot of water sports facilities. You will find a lot of great things to do in the area, such as the Wildfreigehege in Hellenthal, the IP Vogelsang, Nürburgring, Bike and Hiking trails and so much more. Your hosts are more then happy to help.

Our farm is idyllically and quietly situated on the edge of the forest in the small village of Loogh and is part of the Gerolsteiner Land vacation region. Our farm is home to a few chickens, rabbits and small ponies. We harvest hay on green areas. It is the ideal vacation home for families with children, hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. You can start a hike directly from the farm along the "Genuss zu Fuss" trail. In Kerpen, hike along the history trail, panorama trail or the Eifelsteig . Cycle along the Kalk-Eifel cycle path with a connection to the Kyll cycle path. Explore the Unesco Global Geopark with its many volcanoes on day trips. Relax on the sunbathing lawn under old fruit trees with garden shed and barbecue area. For children there is a playhouse, sandpit, swing, trampoline, soccer goal and various pedal vehicles. The youth holiday home Krekel of the Girl Scouts St. Georg Diözesanverband Aachen e.V. is open as a barrier-free self-catering house for groups of all kinds. Whether vacation camps, class trips, work conferences or family weekends - all are welcome! (Full board possible on request) There is a large day (conference) room, middle day room, chapel (also usable as a third day room), large garden, table tennis table, foosball, fireplace, swivel grill, parking in front of the house. Our kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, 5-burner stove with oven, tilting frying pan and large refrigerator. Our house is 100% barrier-free, it has two floors (first floor and basement), which are accessible via ramps. The kitchen is also wheelchair accessible (large work table in the middle of the room that can be moved under). The outdoor facilities are also accessible to all via ramps. Up to 15 wheelchair users can be accommodated in our house. Professional nursing beds and 2 lifters are also available for an additional charge if needed. Our house was certified October 2022 by Travel for All as barrier-free! We are a star host in the Eifel National Park since 2022! When was the last time you saw the Milky Way with your naked eyes? When was the last time you experienced a really dark night? To experience stars and star images intensively is hardly possible in many places anymore. Our trained SternenGuide will guide you through the Eifel nights (outside the Eifel National Park) and give you insights into the secrets of the night and the starry sky. We offer a 2.5 hour star walk. The cost is 130,00€ regardless of the number of participants. Headlamps with red light function and sleeping mats are provided.
