The Maifeld has a lot to offer - culture, nature, sport and much more. You certainly won't get bored here. The cozy restaurants and cafés of Münstermaifeld are just a few minutes' walk away. In addition to the bakery and butcher's shop, there are also small stores for browsing and shopping. Stroll through the alleyways of the picturesque town of Münstermaifeld, learn more about its history and visit the collegiate church of St. Martin and St. Severus. The Romanesque church tower, which is around 900 years old, is the oldest building and also the town's unmistakable landmark. Inside the cathedral, a valuable silent organ and an Antwerp gold altar from the late Gothic period are important gems of art history. Wall paintings from the early days of the church, which were rediscovered during restoration work, give the nave very lively accents. It is not only the church tower that aspires to greater heights. The entire town was once surrounded by a massive town wall, parts of which are well preserved. Sports enthusiast or sporadically active?
