Our sunny terrace invites you to linger with a view of nature. You can easily reach many excursion destinations from Rittersdorf. For example, the Bitburg reservoir, the Eifelpark Wild and leisure park in Gondorf, the Irrel waterfalls as well as the dinosaur park and the Teufelsschlucht nature park centre in Ernzen, Trier - the oldest city in Germany, picturesque Echternach (Luxembourg), the beautiful town of Bernkastel on the Moselle, the Maare lakes near Daun and much more. Beautiful landscapes, lots of nature, a good range of leisure activities and great sights - that's a holiday in the Southern Eifel! The local community of Rittersdorf is located in the Nimstal valley about 3 km north of the district town of Bitburg. A visit to the brewery there is well worth it!

Our holiday home is located in the middle of the Eifel village of Bermel, which was built on a volcanic slope and where the Romans left their traces. Bermel is idyllically nestled between woods and meadows, an ideal starting point to explore the Eifel on foot, by bike, motorbike or by car. Numerous leisure activities make our area a wonderful holiday region at any time of the year. The house was renovated in 2021 with great attention to detail and impresses with the use of natural building materials.   The nearest town of Mayen, as well as the Nürburgring, can be reached by car in 15 minutes. The maars of the Volcanic Eifel are in the immediate vicinity and offer perfect cooling on hot summer days. The "Hochbermeler" dream trail starts right on the doorstep and other dream trails in the surrounding area are within easy reach.

Our farm is idyllically and quietly situated on the edge of the forest in the small village of Loogh and is part of the Gerolsteiner Land vacation region. Our farm is home to a few chickens, rabbits and small ponies. We harvest hay on green areas. It is the ideal vacation home for families with children, hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. You can start a hike directly from the farm along the "Genuss zu Fuss" trail. In Kerpen, hike along the history trail, panorama trail or the Eifelsteig . Cycle along the Kalk-Eifel cycle path with a connection to the Kyll cycle path. Explore the Unesco Global Geopark with its many volcanoes on day trips. Relax on the sunbathing lawn under old fruit trees with garden shed and barbecue area. For children there is a playhouse, sandpit, swing, trampoline, soccer goal and various pedal vehicles.
