Lutz SCHELL, THE Belgian in Monschau, manages the hotel which officially received 3 stars superior from the very beginning and became, in addition, a member of "Historic Hotels International". The newly designed bar/lounge "Braukeller" became one of the most popular locations in Monschau. The atmosphere here, which blends old-fashioned with modern, makes this listed building to a unique attraction in the area of the "Eifel"-region. A perfect spot for a dinner for two, with friends or the entire family, festivities of all kinds, for an overnight stay or a vacation in the most comfortable atmosphere.

We are a group accommodation with 60 beds. Our house is situated in an isolated location on the edge of the forest with a view of the Kronenburg Lake and only a short distance from the historic town center, in the midst of a 2-hectare property with a barbecue area, campfire site, playground, soccer field, and table tennis. Piano, projector, billiards, table soccer, sleds, creative activities, bread baking. Throughout the year, we are happy to accommodate school classes, study trips, clubs, seminars, training sessions, project weeks, holiday camps, reunions, family gatherings, and much more.

In addition to the wide range of leisure activities on the farm, the surrounding area offers a broad spectrum of activities. The unspoilt landscape of the Rur-Eifel is an incomparable terrain for your own explorations on foot, on horseback or by bike. The immediate vicinity attracts with a variety of offers from the maize labyrinth Bubenheim to the tropical bath Kreuzau to interesting historical places with tradition and a wide range of gastronomy and last but not least a variety of outdoor sports such as climbing/canoeing or nature explorations. The Bosselbacher-Hof is a real adventure farm. Petting zoo, adventure playground, play barn, riders' lounge, beach volleyball, football pitch, table tennis table, outdoor swimming pool 300m away, various children's vehicles and a barbecue area with campfire site have something to offer everyone! Of course, our farm also offers a wide range of riding activities. From riding lessons for beginners and advanced riders to rides in the surrounding forests, there is something for everyone. Our farm is a very special kind of farm; shaped by the life of many generations and always run with a lot of heart and soul, it used to be used for dairy farming. We have converted it into a horse farm and are now fulfilling our dream of a holiday farm with many different animals. Together with them we live on the Bosselbacher farm, embedded in meadows and forests, on the outskirts of the village of Vossenack (near Düren). The holiday flats on the Bosselbacher Hof are newly renovated (end of 2008) and have been awarded 4 stars by the German Tourism Association. The original, rustic character of the building has been preserved, e.g. in the high wooden ceilings and the old, restored original beams.
