**A home in the Vulkaneifel** Welcome to Daun. Location & neighborhood of the vacation apartment: The vacation apartment is located on the city limits of the district town of Daun. Everything you need for a perfect stay is within walking distance: grocery stores, cozy cafés, a variety of restaurants, a cinema and charming stores are waiting to be discovered by you. Do you like hiking? The extensive hiking trail networks can be reached on foot from the front door. Unforgettable tours to the volcanic craters of the Dauner Maare and countless other hiking trails can be reached in no time by car. The apartment is the perfect starting point for your vacation in the Vulkaneifel. The district town of Daun itself offers you numerous cultural activities on site as well as countless excursion and hiking opportunities in the region. Arrival & connections: The top floor apartment is located in a three-party house. Free parking spaces are available in the street. For your further mobility on site, the bus station in Daun is less than 5 minutes' walk away. Buses leave from there to the nearest larger towns such as Gerolstein or to many excursion destinations and hiking starting points in the surrounding area. How to get there: By car from the direction of Cologne (north): Follow the A1 to the end of the highway (near Blankenheim). From there, continue on the country road, which will take you to Daun via Hillesheim. From Koblenz or Trier (south): Follow the A48/A1 to the Vulkaneifel highway junction. From there, take the road towards Daun. The apartment is located on the outskirts of Daun and is easily accessible by car. By train: The nearest train stations are Gerolstein station (20 km) and Wittlich main station (34 km). From there you can take a cab or a bus to Daun ZOB. Daun ZOB is only 350m from the apartment. Other train stations nearby are Koblenz main station (75 km) and ICE station Montabaur (90 km).

We rent out the cozy Eifel vacation apartment "Schöne Aussicht". The apartment is located in the attic on 2 levels. It has 2 bedrooms each with 2 beds 90 x 200, a crib, a living room with TV, a bathroom with shower and an eat-in kitchen with pantry kitchen and washing machine. The apartment is modern and brightly furnished. On our large fruit meadow, where you can also have a snack, there is a soccer goal, a trampoline, a seesaw, a sandpit and a table with 6 chairs. A three-legged charcoal barbecue invites you to a cozy barbecue evening. There are ducks, chickens and dogs in our garden. There are two donkeys and ponies in the neighboring meadows.

Holiday village with 18 high-quality equipped, new, modern holiday homes for 1 to 7 people (76-97m²) in a quiet location on the edge of the forest 3 km from the Carolingian town of Prüm. Terrace, sauna, TV, free parking, some with wood-burning stove and fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and microwave. In Prüm (4 km by car, 3 km on foot) you will find all shops for your daily needs. Information about excursion destinations can be obtained from the tourist information centre: www.eifel.info There are currently no new building works in the park. Laundry can be washed and dried in the washing machine room (white container with key pad) (4 x 1€), detergent 0.50€. If you would like to use our hot tub, please contact us. Please only use the parking space belonging to your house or the parking spaces in front of house 3, next to the blue container or above house 10. Please do not park in the turning hammers. Two tea towels and two dishcloths as well as a dishwasher cloth are always provided. For reasons of hygiene, no food (including sugar, spices, coffee or tea) is allowed in the houses! The coffee machines are filter coffee machines. Travel cots and / or highchairs can be collected from our warehouse on arrival if required (free of charge while stocks last). These must be returned cleaned on departure. A large number of marked hiking trails start very close to the houses, allowing you to discover the fascinating landscape.
