Deep in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel, in a dreamy valley, lies a small village called Schutz. Our vacation home is located at the western end of this village. The large property invites you to barbecue, romp around and have fun. A private adventure tour through the Wallmerbach is also fun for the whole family. The house has a living space of approx. 150m² and with its 3 bedrooms offers space for a maximum of 6 people. Kitchen, dining room, living room and bathrooms are optimally equipped. The house offers a fireplace where you can relax with your favorite drink in the evening, a large terrace and a spacious property, ideal for families or smaller groups. There are several hiking trails nearby and a small mountain with a beautiful view over the entire area. In the next bigger town Daun, you will find some shopping facilities, a really great movie theater, as well as the "Wild und Erlebnispark Daun". The volcanic Eifel offers you a wide range of activities, such as cave tours, cycling and hiking trails, fishing and swimming spots, maars, a geyser, incredibly beautiful castles and old fortresses and knight games, as well as great events such as the Daun funfair or the Eifel rally and much much more. We would be delighted to be able to offer you an anchor point and a temporary "home" for all these experiences. Stop by and experience nature and adventures in your own new way.

The family-run business in a rural setting offers 28 guest rooms with 58 beds in 2 categories. Rooms with shower/WC and TV, as well as standard rooms with shared showers. All rooms are accessible by elevator. Our traditional cuisine pampers you with specialties and, depending on the season, also with game. Bowling alley, playground. An ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours into the High Venn and the national park. (Close to Vennbahn, Rurufer, and Eifelhöhen cycle paths.) Wagon rides with catering (only upon request) and guided hikes are offered. Diverse leisure activities all year round. Groomed cross-country ski trails nearby.

The house is located on a quiet village street with no through traffic. The wilderness trail leads directly past our house. The rooms were newly renovated in 2008. We provide you with approx. 32 square meters of space, consisting of a double room, separate bathroom (upstairs) and lounge (downstairs).
