The tour begins in the climatic health resort of Einruhr - clear springs, fresh air and the Rursee lake right on the doorstep. From Einruhr, the route takes you to Woffelsbach, where hydropower shows its lively side - as a source of energy, nature experience and leisure fun. The route continues to the Kalltalsperre dam, where you can learn more about the water cycle of the forests - a place where nature and technology intertwine in a special way. Along the Paustenbacher Venn, through wide moors and quiet streams, you finally reach Monschau. In the historic old town, a window into the era of clothmaking opens up, when the water of the Rur powered the looms and shaped life in the region. You return to Einruhr through the idyllic Rur valley. At the end of the tour, you can let your feet dangle in the water garden at the Heilsteinhaus and let the healing power of the water work its magic on you in peace and quiet.
