The time loop "Die Städtische" takes you from Aachen to Stolberg - two cities whose industrial roots lie deep in history. Aachen was once the world capital of the needle industry, while Stolberg was home to the proud copper masters who found ideal conditions for their craft here.

You leave the imperial city via the Vennbahn, one of the most beautiful and cross-border railroad lines in Europe - on a route that used to transport heavy industrial trains and today leads cyclists over old viaducts and past disused railroad stations through idyllic landscapes without any inclines.
