Round trip in the Nitzbach valley

The sublime ruins of Virneburg Castle are almost always in view on the Virneburger Burgblick dream trail through the beautiful landscape of the Eastern Eifel. The panoramic trail leads through species-rich vegetation, along rugged cliffs and the Nitzbach stream, which gives the idyllic floodplain of the Nitzbach valley its name. The arrival at the castle ruins is a real highlight - from up here you have a magnificent panoramic view.
