Where water touches the forest, this hike leads through the nature of the Eifel and invites you to relax.
The trail in the idyllic Kyll valley is a varied circular hike through the tranquil forests of the Eifel near Densborn. After just a short time, you leave everyday life behind you and find yourself in the middle of nature. The gentle rustling of the trees, the chirping of birds and the babbling of small streams create a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere.
The route takes its name from the three streams - Schlierbach, Ansbach and Treisbach - that accompany the path. Sometimes the path runs directly alongside the water, sometimes it leads through dense sections of forest or along natural paths. This keeps the tour varied and entertaining throughout. Especially on warm days, the shady forest passages are very pleasant and make the hike easy to do even in summer. Again and again, small views of the surrounding landscape of the Kyll valley open up and offer beautiful photo opportunities. Along the way, there are rest stops, such as a lounger with a wonderful panoramic view, where you can linger and enjoy the view.
Tip: Take a look at the church of St. Mary Magdalene, the Roman Catholic parish church of Densborn.
