The Vulkaneifel offers a unique landscape that’s perfect for gravel biking, as you’ll discover on this gravel tour. You’ll start in the county seat of Daun, first passing through the grounds of the Daun Spa Park and then circling the Gemünden Maar over the next few kilometers, before discovering the Weinfeld Maar and the Schalkenmehren Maar on your tour.

Afterward, you’ll dive deep into the forests of the Vulkaneifel. Treat yourself to a refreshing drink at a “Drees”—volcanic mineral water springs, four of which are located along the route. Your tour ends at the last and most famous of these, the Hotzendrees.
