They are spread all over the Bitburger Land: the hiking and walking trails of the Bitburger LandGänge. From 2 to 8 kilometers, from easy to difficult, there is the right trail for every taste.

In the recognized resort of Biersdorf am See, the Bitburger LandGang leads past the "Kannenbach" to the heights of Biersdorf with magnificent views over the countryside.

The 5.4 km long trail starts at the Bitburg reservoir and leads through the village past the old village well "Buar"". After leaving the village, the "Kannenbach" accompanies you along a farm track. In 2018, the municipality has renaturalized the Kannenbach to enhance the watercourse.
Let your gaze wander over the magnificent view past the Kannenbach. A resting bench invites you to linger.
Arrived in the village again, we recommend you to leave the path briefly to visit the parish church of St. Martin. Two angels made of red sandstone are located in front of the church entrance.
Arriving back at the reservoir, it invites you to rest and relax.
The reservoir also offers a wide range of leisure activities for children.
