The circular trail leads through the varied forest landscape in and around the Eifel National Park. From Einruhr, the trail runs through the Erkensruhr valley to the forest chapel in Hirschrott. In the idyllic Püngelbach valley that follows, you pass a well-known weather protection hut. Shortly before returning to Einruhr, the Eifelblick Wolfshügel offers a fantastic view.

Fantastic distant views from the Winnerather Höhe to the opposite Eifel peaks and even as far as the Siebengebirge promise a scenic hike.
