Handicraft, music and hospitality, rural peace and the beautiful Moselle valley, await you and your dog in our two beautiful holiday flats Tankstopp & Boxenstopp. Our holiday flats have been extensively renovated with love and dedication. The flat Tankstopp offers two bedrooms, the flat Boxenstopp has three bedrooms, each with double beds, where there is also room for a cot. The kitchen is completely furnished and equipped with dishwasher and coffee machine. Both living rooms have a sofa bed, flat screen TV and video system, as well as free WLAN access. The holiday flat Tankstopp also has a rustic wood stove for that well-deserved feel-good atmosphere. The bathroom, outside of the flat, is equipped with a large bathtub, separate shower, washing room with washing machine and drying area is right next door. A large sun terrace with a glass roof and a free seat offers a nice place to relax.
Our home including the aprox. 65 m² basement flat is located in a quiet area at the end of a dead end road. It's a 5-min walk to the citycenter. A separate access leads into the floor from where you get into a bedroom, a bathroom and the livingroom with kitchen and dining area. Kilometers of walking- and hiking paths start directly next to the house. Also you will find bike paths and by train you can go to Euskirchen, Cologne, Bonn, Aachen or Trier.
For the youngest guests, the Play Arena offers a large indoor play world with numerous opportunities to romp, climb, and explore.

She is called "Eifel poet" - one of the most popular writers of the early 20th century, who was often in the Vulkaneifel and loved Bad Bertrich.
"Tree of life" an approx. 35 m high, evergreen thuja (thuja plicata / giant tree of life) has been growing in Bad Bertricher Alleegarten in front of the Electoral Palace. The extraordinary tree is well preserved, protected as a natural monument and has already been mentioned in Clara Viebig's novels.

Our spacious, quiet, comfortable vacation apartments on the second floor offer relaxation for up to 6 people. A special experience is helping out on the farm, e.g. milking and feeding the animals, driving the tractor etc.

There are also restaurants, snack bars and an ice cream parlour in the village.In addition to the castle ruins, you can see and explore not only the youngest maar in Central Europe (Ulmener Maar) but also the oldest maar in Germany (Jungferweiher). Since April 2023, it has also been possible to walk through the Ulmen maar tunnel, the connection between the two maars that was built in the Middle Ages.
