Our self-catering cottages offer endless opportunities to relax and get away from the stress of everyday life.Our large family-friendly holiday homes are located in the Felsenland Südeifel, directly in the German-Luxembourg Nature Park near the climatic health resort of Neuerburg in the Eifel - a historic place with a long history and modern infrastructure.
Every 10 years the village gets ready to show over 10,000 visitors the unique and well-known Riedener Passion Play in the parish church.
Our house is located on the quiet outskirts of the beautiful Eifel village of Mirbach, directly on the Eifelsteig. Guest rooms are available with breakfast for one night. Our comfortable holiday apartment is situated between Hillesheim, Nürnburgring, Gerolstein, and Daun.The cozy 74 m² newly built attic apartment with underfloor heating, which self-regulates according to the outside temperature, has a separate entrance, with seating options on the balcony facing southeast, or in front of the house also on the lawn. From there, you have a wonderful view in the evenings of the illuminated Erlöserkapelle, built in 1903. It is a popular sightseeing object and a replica of the Church of the Redeemer in Jerusalem.Enjoy relaxing, interesting, and affordable holiday days in the Vulkaneifel holiday area.Belgium and Luxembourg are easily reachable by car.Trier and Cologne can be reached in about 1 hour by car or train.There are long and beautiful cycling and hiking trails here. Notably, the new over 300 km long "Eifelsteig" hiking trail from Aachen to Trier.
Until 1861, the Plaidter parish church stood on the "Old Church Square". Today's three-aisled, neo-Gothic church was consecrated on September 9, 1861 by Bishop Wilhelm Arnoldi.

Our holiday apartments are situated at the edge of the picturesque village of Monreal with it’s two castle ruins, right at the hiking trail „Monrealer Ritterschlag“ („accolade of Monreal“). In this peaceful location you will discover beautiful apartments with high quality equipment, which were furnished with loving attention to the detail. The three holiday apartments „Walkmühle“ (“fulling mill”) are equipped in different ways. 2, 3 and 4 stars, awarded in the classification of the German tourism association (Deutscher Tourismusverband DTV), guarantee a high standard of quality. In all three holiday apartments we provide accomodations for one to ten people.
The Hochburg was a mountain fort at Celtic time. It is divided into three parts.
A vacation apartment and two quietly situated vacation bungalows in a beautiful and idyllic hillside location. The Heidberghof is located near Dohm-Lammersdorf, a small village in the Vulkaneifel between Hillesheim and Gerolstein. The surrounding nature is unique. The tranquillity on the farm with the view from the terrace helps you to relax from the stress of everyday life. On the Heidberghof we have a small swimming pool. For children we have petting ponies and a small playground. Despite the peace and quiet, there is a wide range of activities in the immediate vicinity (fishing, golf, wildlife park, etc.).It is possible to have breakfast and dinner at the Heidberghof if you book in advance. We offer various dishes that you can choose in advance.Holidays at the Heidberghof are perfect for cyclists, hikers, trail riders, bikers and families with children.Overnight stays are possible in a vacation apartment and two cozy vacation bungalows (1-10 beds).The vacation apartment is located in the main house. The rear of the vacation chalets is right on the edge of the forest. Both chalets have their own terrace with a wonderful view of the beautiful Eifel landscape. The Heidberghof is also a riding center.
