Special attractions of the municipality of Langenfeld with about 670 inhabitants are the late Gothic pilgrimage chapel St. Jost, which was built around 1400, as well as the 3-tunnel visitor mine "Grube Bendisberg", which offers fantastic insights deep into the interior of the earth and brings old mining traditions to life.

The community of Anschau has around 300 inhabitants. The eye-catcher in the center of the village is the St. Agidius Church, built in 1755 and the fountain of the same name. A highlight on the Bertrada Tour hiking trail is the XXL bench. From here you have a wonderful view of the magnificent Eifel around Birresborn and of the extinct volcano Kalem.
