As the European Association of Visual Artists from Eifel and Ardennes (EVBK), a working group of visual artists from Belgium, Germany, France and Luxembourg, we promote the European idea - cross-border friendship.

Most people associate Scotland with: whiskey, the breathtaking, rugged beauty of the Scottish landscape, sheep – and plenty of them, Highland Games (especially caber tossing), Scottish history, which has been brought closer to us especially through the "Outlander" adaptations:Kilts, tartans, haggis, and – last but not least – bagpipe music.

The "Türmchen", affectionately known as "Wittlicher HisTörchen", is the last remaining building of Wittlich's town fortifications from 1317. Today the "Türmchen" houses a small museum on the history of the town and its fortifications.

The meadows of the Eifel offer a plentiful selection for the bee hives of beekeeper Körsten in order to produce aromatic blossom honey.
