Directly on the crater of the Pulvermaar, in the middle of the volcanic Eifel, directly at the "German volcanic road" in the heart of the Unsesco Global European Geoparks lies the Vulkanhof. In this unspoiled landscape, the herd of goats in the spacious playpen has plenty of exercise.

As the European Association of Visual Artists from Eifel and Ardennes (EVBK), a working group of visual artists from Belgium, Germany, France and Luxembourg, we promote the European idea - cross-border friendship.

The museum is housed in the former home of the Eifel poet Peter Zirbes. The modest size of the building with its original furnishings is an example of the simple standard of living of the Niederkailer and Landscheider traders.

Look over the craftswoman's shoulder: In the studio you can be shown and explained how the unique beads are created and much more.

100,000 kilometres in length, the impressive network of roads served the cohesion and administration of the gigantic Roman Empire. The so-called “Erlebnisraum Römerstraße” (Roman Road Adventure Experience) opens up interesting paths in the history of the Rhineland and makes them come alive in a new way.
