Ortsgemeinde Münk
Münk
Open today
The idyllic, wooded local community of Münk used to be a purely agricultural community and today has around 260 inhabitants in the midst of unspoilt nature. The district is tangent to the two brooks Mimbach and Eschbach. The striking center of the town is undisputedly the small chapel built in 1758 in honor of St. Hubertus.
The joint project "VIA Erlebnisraum Römerstraße | Agrippastraße - Via Belgica" makes it possible to "experience" the former Roman state roads in the Rhineland again on a cycling and hiking route. Exposures and reconstructions make the road construction art of the Romans visible and tangible.
