View I: This Eifel view shows the two most important volcanic forms of the region: scoria cone volcanoes and maar volcanoes. Notably, the Goßberg and the Rockeskyller Kopf are in view.

View II: This view showcases the characteristic hilly landscape of the Vulkaneifel and the highest point of the entire Eifel, the Hohe Acht. Close to the Hohe Acht are the Nürburg and the Nürburgring with its legendary racetrack.

    St. Nikolaus Neuerburg

    The wayside chapel replaces the former local chapel of the Hatzdorf deserted settlement northwest of Neuerburg. It houses a sandstone relief of St. Nicholas from 1811 and a replica of the statue of St. Nicholas from the old chapel on the gable (the original is in the church in Neuerburg).

    St. Maria Bombogen

    Rittersdorf Castle

    The nearly 700 year-old water castle is located three kilometers north of Bitburg in Rittersdorf. It houses in the Gothic Knights' Hall, the registrar's office (branch) of the District Administration of the Bitburg region.
