The picturesque old town in the Enz Valley offers a special atmosphere with its winding alleys, the castle, and numerous other nature and cultural attractions.
The parish church of Bollendorf, which lies parallel to the Sauer on a slope, was built in 1838/39 according to the plans of Johann Georg Wolff, the city architect of Trier at the time. It is a hall building with a classicist columned age and an attached tower.
The Beilsturm is an outwork of the old town fortifications of Neuerburg from the 16th century. From the top, newly designed observation platform, there is a beautiful view over the medieval Neuerburg.
