Rangers accompany the (chargeable) boat trip across Lake Rursee every 3th Monday from April to October. The tour is aimed at all National Park guests, especially people with limited mobility.

Circular hike
Landscape hike with the "Volcano Gardeners" of the Eifelverein through the volcanic village of Steffeln to the Steffeln Volcano Garden. The former lava mining at the Steffelnkopf has decimated the volcanic cone, which used to be more than 600 m high. This exposed the volcanic layers inside. The exposed volcanic vent was converted into an experimental and educational volcano.
