The biggest Folk Festival in region, the famous Annakirmes, known well beyond the borders of Düren, brings in almost 1 million visitors and so it rightly deserves to be known as the highlight of the Düren event calendar! About 170 carnies, showmen and merchants turn the place at the river Rur into a colourful funfair world.
