The Eifel offers a varied program of events throughout the year. Whether concerts, exhibitions, guided hikes or markets - culture, nature and regional history come together here in a variety of ways.
On the road with a view of the lake landscape You hike where the wall lizard and the grass snake feel at home. In the rocky terrain, the group climbs the Honey Mountain - at the top, a fantastic view of the Eifel lake landscape compensates for the effort.
First game date 2026: A legendary night train makes an unscheduled stop at the small village station Ahütte in 1913, and famous fellow travelers gather. Participants will receive their role cards well in advance and have a crime to solve – or perhaps even to commit themselves? Participation €79 including meals. On short hikes of around four kilometers in length, all nature-loving girls and boys together with their families can look forward to an approximately 3-hour, free hands-on program on various topics.
Every 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday of the month | The national park rangers offer guided hikes several times a week - free of charge and without registration. There is a suitable tour for every visitor! The starting times and meeting points of the tours are always the same - this makes planning easier for you.
Experience everything a maar can be on our walk. Enjoy ‘fairytale’ insights and listen to the exciting stories of the three maars.

Tuesdays | In the south of the Eifel National Park, you will experience a constantly changing forest and natural stream valleys with lush meadows. An easy hike mainly through flat terrain, suitable for children and all-terrain baby carriages.

Wednesdays | The moderately difficult hike in the Eifel National Park leads from the Mariawald Abbey into the beech nature forests and the habitat of the woodpeckers. It is suitable for children and all-terrain strollers.
