The Eifel offers a varied program of events throughout the year. Whether concerts, exhibitions, guided hikes or markets - culture, nature and regional history come together here in a variety of ways.
On a natural history hike we learn about mushrooms and their ecological importance for the natural balance. Rangers accompany the (chargeable) boat trip across Lake Rursee every 3th Monday from April to October. The tour is aimed at all National Park guests, especially people with limited mobility.

Our historic "Volcano Express" takes you on a leisurely ride from the Rhine to the Eifel. A sumptuous Eifel volcano breakfast awaits you there! Departure from Brohl is at 10:15 a.m., but you can also board the train at any other station. The first stage in the historic carriages takes around 50 minutes to Oberzissen station, located below Olbrück Castle, where you will arrive at 11:07 am.
