Guided tours to the volcanic lakes of the Eifel - Today's Maar: Immerather Maar
Every 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday of the month | The national park rangers offer guided hikes several times a week - free of charge and without registration. There is a suitable tour for every visitor! The starting times and meeting points of the tours are always the same - this makes planning easier for you.
Guided tour of Olbrück Castle A qualified castle guide accompanies visitors around the castle grounds and takes them on a journey through time from volcanism to chivalry.
Experience history up close on a tour of the lower castle Lissingen.The highlights of the tour are: castle mill with waterwheel, cultural barn with carriages, tithe barn with agricultural tools, manor house with large kitchen, hunting room, and knight's armor. Public service tours take place on Sundays at 3:00 p.m. in July and August (subject to confirmation). Rangers accompany the (chargeable) boat trip across the Rursee. The tour is aimed at all visitors to the national park, especially people with limited mobility.
We want to follow in the footsteps of these stone age people, visit their cave together and try to fathom the life of these first "Gerolsteiner". The program is suitable for children aged approx. 6 - 13 years accompanied by an adult.
