Hop on your bike and let yourself drift, enjoy the boundless natural landscape, immerse yourself in history and let yourself be enchanted - the imperial tour from Aachen is an enjoyable journey. The Vennbahn, Eifel-Ardennes and Prüm cycle paths combine to create a truly majestic cycle tour that easily overcomes borders and entices you with regional delicacies in the evening at your accommodation - from Belgian fries to Monschau mustard and Eifel döppekooche.

Off to a region that has imperial stories to tell! Architectural masterpieces, created by man, original paths, created by nature, combine to form a journey into an eventful past. Inspired by Aachen Cathedral, where Charlemagne was crowned emperor, or St. Salvator's Basilica in Prüm. Salvator Basilica in Prüm, which the emperor had magnificently decorated, you can cycle comfortably along many former railroad lines all the way to Bitburg, whose history goes back even further than Emperor Charles V: to Roman times. At the end of the tour, cyclists can indulge in fond memories of the eventful journey with a freshly tapped beer in hand. If you like, you can extend the tour by two days and experience more imperial stories on the way to Trier.
