The Gerberhaus is part of an old farmstead in the area of the castle town of Manderscheid. Quiet and yet centrally located, you will stay here on the spacious property with inner courtyard and garden.Families will appreciate the large property and the many play possibilities, hiking or mountain bike groups the central location in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel. The special layout allows for flexible use of the Gerberhaus:You can choose between a double room with its own shower and toilet, a holiday flat for 5 people or the entire house - just as you need it! Yard & Garden:The Gerberhaus is part of the large property - with old farmhouse, barn with straw boarding house, 2 separate courtyards, large meadow, vegetable garden and garden house. Cyclists and mountain bikers can safely store their bikes and also wash them after a "wild tour".Families with children especially enjoy the garden and courtyard with play facilities (trampoline, slide, table tennis table), and the large courtyard area for playing and romping. The garden is not available to overnight guests of the Strohlager. The animals of the Gerberhaus:There are always animals to pet on the property, such as rabbits or poultry.Just outside Manderscheid there is another farm building where the flock of sheep and our two Icelandic horses live, who are happy to be stroked.Direct location on the Eifelsteig and Lieserpfad. Description HausAcht incl. KleinHausAcht (both units) The HausAcht (cosy guesthouse from the 60s) has been serving as a modern conference and leisure centre for almost 20 years. In 2016, the KleinHausAcht was added as a barrier-free extension. As a group house, up to 35 guests can use the house in various ways. Under the slogan "A whole house to live in", the house is available for children and youth groups, " large families " and working groups, hiking groups, motorcycle groups and company trips. The HausAcht is only rented to one group at a time, who can use all rooms on their own. The large kitchen (optionally for self-sufficiency) 4 lounges (incl. rustic taproom) offer plenty of room for creativity. 11 bedrooms (almost all with shower and WC) for 31 guests offer a pleasant privacy. The group house can accommodate up to 31 people. As from 32 persons, the KleinHausAcht (extension) is automatically rented. On request, a smaller group can also be divided into a group house and a KleinHausAcht (extension). You can discuss this with your host. The low barrier KleinHausAcht can be rented integratively. This extension on the level of the HausAcht recreation rooms offers 2 additional bedrooms for 4 guests, an entrance hall with kitchenette and a large bathroom with barrier-free equipment. Up to 3 wheelchair users can get along here. Various sun terraces as well as 2 small meadows round off the surroundings. Grill possibilities, a table tennis table, a television and free WIFI are available. For the guests in the HausAcht - group house Beckmanns cook service is available on request for an individual part or full board.

Our house is a new house built in 2018 with a total of two barrier-free separate vacation apartments on the edge of the Eifel National Park. The house is located in the municipality of Hellenthal in a quiet location on the southern edge of the village of Wolfert and offers unobstructed views of the surrounding landscape. This invites you to go on extensive cycling and hiking tours or simply to rest and relax.

Spend your most beautiful time of the year as a holiday or short trip in our hospitable house. With a magnificent view of historic walls and the castle pond, your holiday home is located in the direct vicinity of the forest, hiking and cycling trails, such as the Eifelsteig, the Eifeler Quellenpfad, the Ahrtalradweg and the Eifel-Höhen-Route as well as the AhrSteig. The family-run hotel with 20, mostly newly furnished rooms offers sauna, a lift and our newly designed outdoor terrace. Comfortable rooms with shower/WC, telephone, hairdryer, some with minibar, balcony. Newly designed breakfast room with castle view, rich breakfast buffet, with vegetarian offer and muesli / grain corner.
