The apartment is surrounded by meadows and forests. Outside there is a 25 sqm terrace with adjoining garden and an orchard with plenty of space for fun and games of children. We rent out a rustic yet romantic vacation home that has been extensively and lovingly renovated and furnished. The vacation home is located in the Leudersdorf district, on the outskirts of town and in close proximity to various hiking and biking trails. The Eifelsteig trail also passes through the village and is within walking distance of the house, which is why Leudersdorf is very popular among hikers and mountain bikers.  Hillesheim, the “crime novel capital,” is just a 10- to 15-minute drive away. The following attractions are also easily accessible from Leudersdorf: the Dreimühlen Waterfall near Nohn, the Freilingen swimming lake, the Nürburgring, the Dauner Maare, Kasselburg Gerolstein, Phantasialand, the Daun Wildlife and Adventure Park, and many more.

The "favourite" place to spend time out is where peace, comfort and cosiness are combined. In the tranquil village of Loogh in the middle of the Vulkaneifel, close to the Eifelsteig, you will find the Herding vacation apartment as part of a vacation home. The apartment has recently been partially renovated and lovingly furnished. A separate entrance to the apartment leads through the hallway into a modern country-style kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, microwave, stove, fridge, coffee machine, crockery etc.). You then enter the cozy living room, where two sofas invite you to linger in front of the fireplace. In the adjoining conservatory is the dining room with a large table that easily seats 6 people.The recently renovated bathroom is accessible from the hallway. It has a large walk-in shower with seating. There are two small bedrooms opposite the bathroom. They offer space for a 2x2m bed (bedroom 1) and a 2x1.4m bed (bedroom 2). Bedroom 2 also has a closet. The bedrooms are only separated by a door and bedroom 1 is a connecting room for bedroom 2. We therefore recommend our vacation apartment for families or groups who know each other very well. In the large outdoor area there is a terrace with seating, the large wild and romantic garden and two natural ponds. One of these two natural ponds can also be used as a swimming pond. Both ponds are freely accessible and not fenced in - this should be taken into account when booking with small children.The vacation apartment is located in a small village and the garden is often visited by cats from the neighboring farms (note allergy risk). We invite you to come to rest in this idyllic setting.
